  The restaurant was clean, well lit. There were two servers to attend the main eating area as well as the bar area. If you're not ready to immediately order off the Extensive menu be prepared for a bit of a wait before you see the server again. I finally had to hail ours several times before he reappeared at our table to take our order.
  The Egg Flower soup was very good, nicely flavored. However, the packaged cracker served with it was unetable. Ordered #1 from Combination menu...Huge amount of food and all was very good with the exception of the battered 4 piece deep fried shrimp, which was like rubber and tasted old and somewhat 'musty'. Needless to say didn't eat it. When our sever brought the bill he inquired as to how the food was. I told him it was good with exception of the shrimp and why. He said, "that's too bad. Don't blame me". Almost as if it were a regular occurrence. He left the bill and walked away. That was my experience and I doubt I'll be going back anytime soon.

  Very friendly service, great food (served relatively fast in my experience), and huge portion( big enough for two meal). With the decent price range this is one of my al time favorite Chinese food restaurants. I make an effort to stop here any time I pass through The Dalles.
